Kaylie Buck earns the first ever women’s alpine medal for Canada at a World Junior Championships and Arnaud Gaudet bring’s home bronze in PGS in Lachtal, Austria

Kaylie Buck of Oakville, Ontario, claims bronze - the first World Junior Championships medal for a Canadian in women's alpine - in

the Parallel Slalom event in Lachtal, Austria.   Arnaud Gaudet of Sainte Agathe des Monts, QC won the bronze in Parallel Giant Slalom (PGS) and finished in 5th in Parallel Slalom (PSL).

Another notable performance was Michael Nazwaski of Toronto, Ontario who just missed the podium with an impressive 4thin PSL. 

For Canadians Arnaud Gaudet, Kaylie Buck, Michael Nazwaski and Jamie Behan (Toronto, ON) this will be their last eligible World Junior Championships due to age qualifying criteria established by FIS.
