Speed Nation SBX Sunshine Village

Banff Sunshine Village is the first Snowboard Cross stop of the Speed Nation SBX Tour and brings together the best SBX athletes in North America to compete in a Snowboard Cross event in two days.

THE RESORT

Banff Sunshine Village is conveniently located just 135 km (80 miles) west of the Calgary International Airport and only 8 km (5 miles) west of Banff on the Trans-Canada Highway (#1). Banff Sunshine Village, famous for Canada’s Best Snow and three mountains which offer skiers and snowboarders more than 3,500 acres to play on features runs ranging from easy greens to the hardest double blacks.

 A team of expert builders will complete the building of the Sunshine Village NorAm track with oversight provided by Canada Snowboard and Alberta Snowboard.
