What has snowboarding taught you?
I have a community of people that share the same passion as me, and every time we touch snow, we aren’t competing against each other. It’s just a group of people, having a good time.
How do you mentally prepare yourself for a contest?
Head down, eyes closed, and snowboard playlist in both ears.
What’s your favourite part about competing?
The 10 seconds before I drop in, when everyone is hyping me up.
Where would you hold a contest that doesn’t already have one?
Earl Bales Park (Toronto) needs a pipe, and a World Cup. The three million people of Toronto are waiting.
