The Riders Advancement and Development (RAD) Program is a Canada Snowboard initiative that aims to provide more opportunities to develop for all stages of athletes and coaches. This camp at Mt Sima, YT, aims to provide a domestic early season training opportunity for teams to access on-snow venues including a snowboard cross course, terrain park, and alpine lane space. Arena Snowparks will be providing the initial venue builds with resort maintenance. Teams can expect a multi-discipline and multi-team opportunity to train together with opportunity to lead their own day-to-day training and scheduling to accommodate their individual pre-season goals.
This camp aims to target teams and coaches who are comfortable leading their own training sessions within Snowboard Cross. Coaches may be asked to assist with venue maintenance including course setting, raking, and dyeing as necessary.
As this is a team training opportunity, athletes must attend with coaches. If you are an athlete who's team is not interested in participating, or if you are a developing coach hoping to attend for mentorship opportunities without a team, please contact Austin White at nhfgva.juvgr@pnanqnfabjobneq.pn and we can assess suitability to join with another team.
