Jacob is one of the newer members to the team, following a successful year nationally and his first FIS World Cup appearance in his home province of Quebec. The skills, progression, and results are what got him to the NextGen team but, It all started because his dad was already a snowboarder. When Jacob isn’t putting down some of the most stylish snowboarding you can see, he spends his time skateboarding at local parks.
Growing up outside of cold and snowy Montreal, QC Jacob was able to be around snow and snowboarding frequently, his home resort Saint-Sauveur a quick drive away used to host one of biggest events in Canada, the Empire Shakedown which he wishes would happen again so he can compete at the event. Maximise has also been a big part of his snowboarding in the past few years, allowing him to snowboard all year round hitting their air-bag jump.
Jacob’s season will be his busiest yet, adding more international travelling and competitions to his schedule. He likes to travel and ride with ‘the boys’ so we don’t think he will mind the extra time spent on the road.
