The Gathering Registration

International Participants: This year, The Gathering invites international athletes to attend the camp. Please see details below on eligibility and registration information.

 

Kindred Collective Registration

The Elleboard and Kindred Collective programs are designed to create a gathering of women and gender diverse coaches and athletes to improve their riding, come together to empower each other, and develop leadership skills to continue their evolution in the world of snowboarding.

To register for Kindred Collective for exclusive access to the Holy Bowly venue on the morning of May 8th, please follow your respective Athlete and Coach Registration links and you will be prompted to select Kindred Collective in the registration options.

 

Canadian athlete Registration

A passphrase is required to register for the camp. Athletes looking to register, please request the passphrase from your coach or club. If you are a coach / club that have not yet received the passphrase, please have your coaches register first. You will receive your passcode to provide to the athletes in your confirmation email. This is to ensure all coaches are aware of who is registering from their team and that all athletes have a coach available for the event.

Coach Registration 

Applicable to both Canadian and International Coaches.

All coaches must register in advance to receive a passcode to provide to their athletes to register. The passcode, as well as further information including TC Meeting links and a link to join The Gathering's Whatsapp Group will be provided in your confirmation email. Registration is free for all coaches to attend, however teams are responsible for their own coaches lift tickets, accommodations, and travel.

International Athlete Registration

For the first time ever, The Gathering welcomes international teams to attend the camp. In total there will be a 30-spot capacity for athletes to attend. This will be first-come-first serve basis from registration. There will be a fee to attend which will include your camp entrance and access to all disciplines, events, and off-snow activities. Please review the lift tickets section to the side for more information about how to acquire your spring pass or discounted lift tickets.

There is a separate registration page for athletes to register linked below. The criteria to determine international status can be found here (English / French). In summary, you will be considered an International Athlete if either of the following criteria applies to you: 

  1. If the athlete has either an active or inactive FIS membership, the Athlete's Nationality on their FIS profile is set to a country that isn't Canada. The World Snowboard Points List or Social Media Accounts will not be used to assess nationality. 
  2. If the Athlete does not have a FIS license (active or inactive), then the athlete will be considered International if they are not training year-round with a Canada Snowboard Sanctioned Club and are not residents in Canada.

International athletes who do train year-round with a Canada Snowboard sanctioned club: If you are an international athlete by the criteria #1 above yet you train year-round with a Canada Snowboard Registered Club or Team, you are eligible for 50% off your registration fee. Please use the Athlete Registration - Canada Snowboard Affiliation during your registration process. You will require a Compete membership.

International athletes who do not train year-round with a Canada Snowboard sanctioned club: If you are an international athlete by the criteria #1 or #2 and do not train year round with a Canada Snowboard Sanctioned Club, please use the Athlete Registration - No Canada Snowboard Affiliation for your registration process. You will need a Limited Activity Membership.
