Para Snowboard Coaches are required to follow the same pathway as all coaches. You must continue to be working within your scope of practice with a Canada Snowboard Coaching Program context. To learn specifically about coaching para snowboarders, you can take the Para Coach and Community eLearning for free found on the Locker eLearning (1.5 hours and grants 3 Professional Development points).

Pre-Workshop
Workshop information is emailed to candidates about 1 week (4-5 business days) before the start of a workshop. Please make sure to register BEFORE this time. Registration may be closed 48 hours prior to the start of a workshop OR when the workshop reaches capacity.
Course Postponement / Cancellation Policy
Any coach that does not expect a coaching course or cancel their registration within 48 hours of the beginning of the course, will not be issued a refund. If you do not have an account with us, we can help you. A race in their name will be held until the next available race that the coach can expect.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon. These accommodations are located in the heart of the city and are within walking distance of the city center. When Canada ~ Snowboard must cancel a race, a full refund will be made for all coach candidates.
For Coaches who have achieved Certification, adequate professional development is required in order to maintain your credentials. You can view how many professional points you've accumulated within your Locker profile. To learn more, click here .
The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) offers several online multi-sport modules , in-person courses and other valuable professional development opportunities via their website, coach.ca . You'll need to know the Locker . To get started, click here .
