Equipped to Rip with Oakley

January 29, 2026
Oakley and Canada Snowboard are teaming up for a partnership rooted in performance, innovation, and a shared history in snowboarding culture.

For the first time in the brand’s history, Oakley is an official apparel sponsor of a national snowboard federation. As the Official Apparel sponsor of Canada Snowboard, Oakley will equip National Team athletes, coaches, and staff with premium outerwear designed specifically for the demands of elite snowboarding, from daily training environments to international competition.

Oakley’s heritage in sport and relentless drive for innovation run deep. Built through decades of work in extreme environments, the brand’s snow apparel blends forward-thinking design with technical precision, engineered to withstand the elements while supporting athletic performance at the highest level.

“Oakley is a globally respected performance brand with deep roots in snowboarding,” said Dustin Heise, CEO of Canada Snowboard. “Their commitment to innovation and athlete-first design makes them a natural fit for our National Team as we head into an exciting season of training and international competition.”

Built for Performance

While the National Team will be outfitted throughout the season, select pieces are designed with specific disciplines in mind, including Halfpipe, Slopestyle, and Big Air. Each garment prioritizes mobility, freedom of movement, and durability, meeting the physical demands of modern snowboarding without compromising style or function.

“Stoked on the collab between Oakley and Canada Snowboard,” said Team Oakley athlete Cameron Spalding. “Oakley has been home to me for many years now and I know the gear will perform to the highest standard. The design and colorways are making for a clean kit, and the fit is exactly what we are looking for as snowboarders. They nailed it.”

Design That Reflects Identity

Oakley’s Canada Snowboard outerwear channels speed, precision, and national identity through bold construction and dynamic graphics. The Canadian maple leaf is reinterpreted with a modern edge, while speed lines across the sleeves reinforce forward motion. Classic reds are refreshed through confident colour blocking within Oakley’s modern silhouettes.

Key pieces include the BALDFACE Shell Jacket with waterproof FNDry™ fabric, fully taped seams, and RECCO® safety technology; the WINTERTIDE Softshell Hoodie; the CHANNEL Cargo Pant; and the BALDFACE Shell Pant, engineered with waterproofing and venting and worn by Canada Snowboard as part of its competition outerwear system.

Canada Snowboard athletes, coaches, and staff will wear Oakley outerwear throughout the season at training camps, Nationals, World Cups, the Olympic Games, and major international events.

This partnership brings together two brands aligned by performance, progression, and a commitment to supporting athletes where it counts most, on snow, in motion, and under pressure.
