Nomination Form for Election to the Board of Directors

We welcome your nomination for election to the Board of Directors of The Canadian Snowboard Federation (D.B.A Canada Snowboard). There  are currently two (2) positions available for election. These two (2) positions will join the seven (7) current directors, inclusive of (1) director who is the Canada Snowboard Athletes Council representative, to form the ten (10) directors of the organization. Four candidates will be elected for a mandate of three (3) years, and all will be elected by the Canada Snowboard membership as per the Canadian Snowboard Federation general bylaws. 

The deadline to submit your application is May 2nd, 2025. Before applying for the Canada Snowboard Board of Directors, please read the CS Board Roles, Responsibilities and Expectations.

*Elections will take place at the Annual General Meeting on Sunday, August 17th, 2025.

*Interviews for selected candidates will take place between May 9th - May 27th, 2025.

The information provides the basis for determining suitability for election to the Board of Directors. **Please Note - 

Per the Canada Snowboard Nominations Committee Terms of Reference - A candidate for election as a Director is deemed to have a disqualifying conflict of interest if that individual is identified as any or all of the following:

  • Parent, Partner or Spouse of a Current Canada Snowboard Athlete or Provincial/Territorial Athlete ;
  • Current Director or Director Elect of a Canada Snowboard PTSA; 
  • Current Canada Snowboard NextGen or National Team Athlete, or PTSA Athlete
