The next chapter of Canadian snowboarding is here, with 41 athletes representing the communities, talent, and future of the sport across the country.
From World Cup veterans to rising athletes making their way onto the international stage, the 2026/27 Canadian National Snowboard Team brings together snowboarders across Alpine, Snowboard Cross, Slopestyle and Big Air, Halfpipe, and Para Snowboarding.

From the athletes who have already stood on the world’s biggest podiums to those just beginning to make their mark internationally, this roster represents the depth of Canadian snowboarding and the people who will shape where the sport goes next.

ALPINE

From Olympic podium contenders to a new face already making her mark internationally, the Alpine National Team is carrying plenty of momentum into the season ahead.
Arnaud Gaudet is coming off a season that saw him step onto three World Cup PGS podiums, including a milestone moment on home snow at Val Saint-Côme, Canada’s first World Cup PGS medal on Canadian soil in 15 years. He also posted a personal-best sixth-place Olympic finish in Milano Cortina and helped Canada make history with its first-ever Mixed Team Alpine Snowboard World Cup podium to round out his season.
Kaylie Buck had a breakthrough of her own, stepping onto a World Cup podium for the first time in Cortina d’Ampezzo before finishing fourth on home snow at Val Saint-Côme. She now heads into the new season with a new level of momentum behind her.
And there’s a new face on the Alpine National Team to watch. Lanxi “Kaia” Wei arrived on the FIS scene and wasted no time making an impression, winning every Nor-Am Cup race she entered on her way to second overall in the standings, earning bronze in Parallel Giant Slalom at the 2026 Junior World Championships, and reaching the top 16 at two World Cups, all in her debut season.

SNOWBOARD CROSS
With Olympic experience, World Cup podiums, and a new generation of racers coming through, the Snowboard Cross team has plenty of names to watch heading into the season ahead.
After making his Olympic debut in Milano Cortina, Evan Bichon returned home and delivered another first, earning bronze at the Bataille Royale in Mont-Sainte-Anne for the first World Cup podium of his career.
The 2025 World Champion and two-time Crystal Globe winner, Éliot Grondin added another Olympic silver medal to his forever-growing arsenal of accomplishments at Milano Cortina. It was his second Olympic silver, following his podium in Beijing four years earlier.
And the next generation is already making its presence known. Kennedy Justinen put together a standout season with four Nor-Am Cup victories and a 12th-place World Cup finish at Mont-Sainte-Anne, giving the SBX team another name to watch.

The Para Snowboard team heads into a new season with Paralympic experience behind it and athletes continuing to push the Canadian program forward.
Tyler Turner arrived in Milano Cortina with a season full of momentum and left with another Paralympic medal, taking bronze in Snowboard Cross. Before the Games, he had already collected four World Cup podiums across Snowboard Cross and Banked Slalom, continuing a run of results that has made him one of Canada’s leading Para Snowboard racers.
Philippe Nadreau and Sandrine Hamel also had standout moments on the international circuit. Nadreau earned his first career World Cup podium with bronze in Lenk before making his Paralympic debut, while Hamel collected two more World Cup medals, both bronze at Welcome to Paradise ahead of her third Paralympic appearance.

HALFPIPE

The Halfpipe team heads into the season with heavy momentum after one of the biggest moments in Canadian women’s Halfpipe in recent memory, and an athlete ready to build from her first Olympic experience.
Elizabeth Hosking made history at Snow Rodeo, becoming the first Canadian woman in more than 23 years to claim a Halfpipe World Cup title. The victory came on home snow in Calgary and marked her first World Cup win, adding another major milestone to a career that already includes three Olympic appearances.
Felicity Geremia also had a season to remember. She posted a career-best fifth-place World Cup finish at Silvaplana before making her Olympic debut in Milano Cortina, giving her a first taste of the biggest stage and plenty to build on heading into the next chapter.

Slopestyle + Big Air
There’s no shortage of experience on this roster, but there’s also plenty of momentum building behind it, with some of Canada’s established names joined by athletes taking major steps forward.
Mark McMorris continued to add to one of the deepest competition resumes in snowboarding, collecting his 12th X Games gold and 25th career X Games medal before making his fourth Olympic appearance in Milano Cortina.
Éli Bouchard, meanwhile, took another step forward on the World Cup circuit, earning his first Slopestyle podium and first Slopestyle World Cup victory at Flachau. With his progressive riding and willingness to keep pushing what’s possible on a snowboard, the season marked another jump in his international career.
For Juliette Pelchat, the biggest story was momentum. She reached her first World Cup Big Air final in Steamboat, finishing fourth, and made her Olympic debut in Milano Cortina, finishing ninth in Slopestyle. It was a season that showed just how much ground she is gaining on the international stage.
And there’s more coming behind them. New addition, Coltan Eckert is one of the young Canadian names making noise through The Grind and the Nor-Am circuit, bringing a technical and progressive approach.
