#ForTheLove | Cam Spalding

January 14, 2026

Cameron Spalding always knew exactly what he wanted to be: a professional snowboarder.
While other kids watched cartoons, Cameron watched snowboard videos. From his earliest days on snow, there was no hesitation, no backup plan, just an unshakable love for riding.

Raised by parents Todd and Rebecca, Cameron grew up in a family where snowboarding wasn’t just a sport, but a way of life. Weekends were spent on the hill together, winters revolved around riding, and every member of the family shared the same passion. Snowboarding became a constant. The place where time slowed down, and everyone came together.

That shared love and sense of fun became the foundation Cameron grew up on, a family-first approach that shaped not only his riding but the values he’s carried with him every step of the way. Even as competition entered the picture, snowboarding remained what it had always been for the Spalding's: time together, outdoors, doing what they loved.

This is #ForTheLove: a series celebrating the heart of snowboarding — the passion that starts young, the families who build their lives around the sport, and the shared experiences that last far beyond the hill. Every rider’s journey is different, but the heart is the same: snowboarding is where it all began.
