The excitement of the new season is in full swing as Laurie Blouin secured an impressive third place at the Big Air Chur event in Switzerland this past weekend. This marked the start of the 2024/25 Big Air World Cup season, setting the stage for a thrilling year ahead.
Laurie's journey through the competition started strong, finishing the first round in fourth place with a solid score of 83.35 points. Her second score of 79.5 points propelled her up the ranks and into second place. Despite a fall in the landing of her final run, Laurie’s combined score of 163.00 was enough to secure her spot on the podium. Japan's Mari Fukada took home the gold with a remarkable total score of 181.50 points.
