Reached finals in 9 of 11 World Cups, taking the small-final win at Mont-Sainte-Anne.  Tess reads the course like an open book, with smooth style and savvy tactics. She’s got the heat racing game dialed.
 

Who introduced you to Snowboarding? 
My parents' cousin rode and even raced in the Kokanee tour back in the day. He got my dad into it, and then I got put on a snowboard when I was two.  

What does snowboarding mean to you?  
I feel so lucky to have found a sport like snowboarding at such a young age. It is my favourite thing to do, my favourite place to be. It's such a healing/ exciting/ calming, and just fun thing to get to do.

Where is your favourite place to snowboard?
Big White. We spend so much time abroad, I love getting to come back and ride at Big White, which just feels like home. 

If you could go snowboarding with anyone, who would it be? Why?
I think my brother. We grew up riding together, and it's always so fun. He pushed me a lot as a kid and is still so supportive and just hypes me up. Brings me back to when we were young, falling in love with the sport. 

What are 3 things we probably didn’t know about you?    I have four little sisters, currently between the ages of 3 and 13.

• Not a homebody, love to travel for sports/activities, go on road trips, adventures and visit friends/ fam.
• Never in one spot for too long.
• Would love to have a farm and live off of garden goods, but I haven't figured out how to do that with this nomadic lifestyle.
