Sunshine Village & the Canadian Para-Snowboard Team are joining forces hosting the 2nd edition of the annual Banked Slalom fundraiser event at Sunshine Village on May 9th, 2026.

The Leg Burner Banked Slalom

All proceeds will go towards supporting the Para Snowboard Team and raising awareness around Para-Snowboarding. We will have amateur divisions with tons of prizes from amazing sponsors and an open division! It's targeted to be a fun and collective event to bring the community together and enjoy spring snowboarding, with some friendly competition mixed in. It'll consist of a jam format with the finish just around the village. Final schedule to be confirmed.
