What is the RAD Alpine Camp at Val St Come?

The Riders Advancement and Development (RAD) Program is delivered by Canada Snowboard and Quebec Snowboard and seeks to create more development opportunities for athletes and coaches at all stages. This camp at Mont-St-Anne provides teams with a chance to train on a similar snowboard cross course as the World Cup and NorAm events the week prior. Teams will have the opportunity to train together and manage their own day-to-day training alongside SBX RAD Coach Jake Holden.

This camp is designed for teams and coaches who are comfortable managing their own training sessions within Snowboard Cross. Ski Cross coaches will have the opportunity to work alongside technical staff for safe introduction to the sport. Coaches may be asked to assist with venue maintenance, including course setting, raking, and dyeing, as needed.

This is a team-focused training event - athletes must attend with their coaches. If you are an athlete whose team is not participating or a developing coach looking for mentorship opportunities, please contact Austin White to explore the possibility of joining another team.
