RIDERS Program

A fun, confidence building introduction to the world of competitive snowboarding that's focused on skill development

RIDERS information for parents

The RIDERS Program is a fun, skill development based program for kids who have learned how to snowboard, but would love to learn more! The RIDERS Program teaches kids all the skills needed to join a local club, attend events or even just to snowboard for life. Each week of the program riders will learn and develop a new skill.

who can participate?

Any rider who has learned how to snowboard in the snow school can join the program. The program has 3 levels:

  • Green: All mountain riding. Any rider who has learned how to snowboard in the snow school and can comfortable ride a green/blue slope, can join the Green Level of the RIDERS Program.
  • Blue: All mountain riding and a small introduction to discipline specific skills (slopestyle, half pipe, snowboard cross, and alpine). Participants who have progressed through the Green Level, or demonstrate a high enough skill level, can join the Blue Level of the RIDERS Program.
  • Black: Perfect all mountain riding and develop discipline specific skills. Participants who have progressed through the Blue Level, or demonstrate a high enough skill level, can join the Black Level of the RIDERS Program.
