Like the rest of her family Emilie started skiing at the age of 3 and decided to give snowboarding a shot at the age of 6 in craving a new challenge. She started competing at the age of 10 in disciplines of slopestyle and snowboardcross, finding success in both at US Junior Nationals, before she turned her focus solely to snowboardcross. When she is not busy shredding the mountain she likes to go mountain biking, backpacking, paddle-boarding, and spend time with friends in her hometown. Highlights from the 2016/2017 season include a 9th overall finish in the NorAm Tour and representing Canada in the 2017 Junior World Championships with a 6th place finish. Emilie is working towards competing in another World Cup event for the 2017/2018 season and place in the top 3 overall on the NorAm Tour, and make the top 8 in the Junior World Championships.
