Rider Bio

Born in Neepawa, Manitoba Owen moved to Calgary, Alberta at a young age. Like for a lot of Canadian kids hockey was his original sport of interest before he gave it up to be on a board at the age of 8. His time outside of snowboarding is spent at the Calgary skateparks, hanging with friends and taking on camping/hiking adventures in the Rockies. Owen represented Canada in the World Juniors in Laax, Switzerland  and is coming off of 3 podiums for the 2016/2017 most notably a 2nd place finish in the Sport Chek Junior Air Nation Nationals. He is on the come up representing his local snowboard shop, Royal Board Shop, and aims to progress his snowboarding with an arsenal of new tricks, improve his rankings in the Revolution Tour Series, and qualify to compete in a World Cup for the 2017/2018 season.
