Registration Deadline

Online registration is recommended and closes at midnight on January 24, 2018
Onsite registration is limited to space availability and closes at 4pm on January 25, 2018
Onsite registration will be provided at the Event Office.


International Athletes Notice

To confirm your registration, the Event Organizers MUST receive a written confirmation from your National Snowboard Association confirming that you are in good standing, prior to your arrival at the event.  The confirmation letter can be submitted by email to: bcsnow@telus.net.

Note: A valid FIS License is required to register

Eligibility - NorAm Competitions

Competitors must meet the following age limit in order to compete:
SBX            15 years+ by December 31, 2017


Competitors must hold a valid FIS License. Canadian athletes can purchase FIS License, SAIP insurance and Provincial or Territorial Snowboard Association Membership before registering through your Provincial or Territorial Association.

Athlete/Coach Sign In

All participating athletes and coaches are required to Sign In at the Event Office, to confirm registration and to complete mandatory Big White Special Event Waivers.


Note:  Big White Special Event Waivers must be signed in person by participant and, if required, by parent or legal guardian (coach) for athletes under 19.

Canadian Coaches Registration

All Canadian coaches at events must register and meet the Canadian Minimum Coach Certification Standards.

Refund Policy

Any refund of Event Registration Fee requires the approval BC Snowboard Association Executive Director.
Request for refund must be submitted by email to: bcsnow@telus.net
The following are viable reasons for permitting Event Registration Fee refunds:
  • Event cancellation or date/location changes
  • Injury sustained prior to event training, preventing participation in event (must be confirmed with doctor’s note)
  • Exceptions: hardship special circumstances require the prior approval of BC Snowboard Associations Executive Director
Refunds for cash or cheque transactions must be refunded by cheque.
Credit card refunds must be processed via card transaction credit.
Membership, SAIP Insurance and FIS license fees are not refundable.
Lift Tickets are not refundable.

Lift Tickets

Athletes:          Lift Tickets for training and competition days will be offered at 50% discount.
                        Vouchers will be provided at Sign In and will be purchased at Guest Services.
Coaches:        Lift Tickets will be comped based on 5 athletes to 1 coach pass.
                        Coaches not qualifying for comp pass will receive 50% discount voucher.
