The last two weeks have been action-packed for the Canadian National Snowboard Team, with athletes stacking podiums, clinching globes, and making history across multiple disciplines. From slopestyle and snowboard cross to alpine and halfpipe, here’s a roundup of what Team Canada has been up to.
In men’s slopestyle, Cameron Spalding cemented his place at the top, winning the slopestyle Crystal Globe and giving Canada back-to-back titles after Liam Brearley’s victory last season. With World Cup wins at Cardrona and the Laax Open, Cam locked in top honours despite the cancellation of the Flachau stop.

Meanwhile, Brearley continues to show why he’s one of the best in the game, taking home the win at Absolut Park's Spring Battle 25, Europe’s longest-running and most prestigious video-based snowboard contest. This win has bumped him to the top of the World Snowboard Point List.
At the FIS Snowboard Alpine Junior World Championships in Zakopane, Poland, Aurélie Moisan struck gold for the second consecutive year in PGS. Moisan’s performance is part of an impressive run that includes three top-10 finishes in her last four World Cup appearances, including a standout 4th-place finish in Val St-Côme, Québec in February.
At the Para Snowboard World Championships, Tyler Turner capped off a dream season, winning gold in the LL1 Snowboard Cross, adding to his World Cup title and Crystal Globe for the season sweep. Turner’s victory on home snow, cheered on by family and friends, made it all the more special.
"It's pretty freaking cool to be competing in Canada for World Championships… especially to take home the gold medal on home soil."

Other standout performances from the para team included:
Eliot Grondin, the defending Crystal Globe winner, continues to dominate the FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup standings after a second-place finish in Erzurum, Turkey, and a third-place finish at the next stop in Gudauri. Grondin holds a commanding 161-point lead with 435 points total. Teammate Meryeta O'Dine also impressed with a 6th-place finish.
On the NorAm and European Cup circuits, young Canadian talent is making moves:
Brooke D'Hondt, Elizabeth Hosking, Felicity Geremia, and Liam Gill made their mark at the inaugural Snow League event in Aspen, Colorado. Hosking had the honour of being the very first athlete ever to drop into the pipe at this new event, setting the tone for the team’s presence on the international stage.
