FIRST STOP ON THE ROAD TO THE OLYMPIC GAMES

August 28, 2024

The countdown to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Livigno, Italy, has officially begun, and this is your front-row seat to all the action!

This weekend, the FIS Snowboard Slopestyle World Cup at Cardrona Alpine Resort kicks off the Olympic qualification period, and these riders are seriously hyped. The road is long, but the journey is what it’s all about!

Start your engines, buckle up, and get ready — Canada’s finest are hitting the slopes and vying for a spot on the Slopestyle / Big Air part of the Canada Snowboard Team. These athletes will compete in both Slope and Big Air World Cups (2 Olympic disciplines but the same team qualifies for both), racing against time and each other to earn their tickets to the 2026 Olympics. Let’s see who’s got what it takes to represent the maple leaf in Italy!
