Jake Holden is a guy who believes anything is possible and will give you the confidence to believe it, too. A former Olympian who had a longstanding tenure with the snowboardcross National Team as an athlete, Jake brings over a decade of experience as an athlete and coach, and is going into his second season as our Snowboardcross National Team assistant and NextGen coach. Jake is a seamless compliment to the snowboardcross team and coaching staff - bringing fresh ideas and perspectives that continue to push the snowboardcross program and athletes to excel. Jake has been a great addition to the high performance program and we are looking forward to many more seasons with him.

We caught up with Jake to talk career highlights and his plans for this season!

Position: Assistant Coach & NextGen, National SnowboardCross Team. 

Years Coaching with Canada Snowboard: 1

Career Highlights: Coaching at the Junior World Championship in Austria having our Male athlete,  Eliot Grondin win 2nd place overall.

Memorable Coaching Moments:
Kevin Hill Baquira, Spain WC jumping over a fallen competitor before a jump feature in the final rounds to love onto big finals.
- constant Travel adventures with the team. 
- Sass Fee fall training camp. Beautiful weather and location. 

What are you looking forward to most this season:
