Canada Snowboard knows the importance of our coaching staff to the success of our athletes on all levels. From resort clubs to the national spotlight our coaches are an integral part of everything we do here at Canada Snowboard.
Executive Director of Canada Snowboard, Dustin Heise had this to say regarding National Coaches Week.
"Coaches are the key foundation necessary to ensure a quality Snowboard system at each stage of the athlete pathway. Canada Snowboard is grateful for all of our coaches at each stage of our athlete pathway nation wide, and we cannot do it without each and every one of them. We need to continue to ensure quality technical and Safe Sport training for each of our technical leaders as well as listen to their needs in order to ensure recruitment and retention of our great coaches currently in our system as well as those to enter into our system. Thank You Coaches for all you do on and off the snow."
National Coaches Week is a week to celebrate the tremendous positive impact coaches have on athletes and communities across Canada. This week is an opportunity to recognize coaches for the integral role they play by simply saying #ThanksCoach.
