Mark McMorris Soars To Third At The Burton US Open

Four-time Burton US Open champion, Mark McMorris (Regina, SK) put on a show during the slopestyle finals on Friday. With a technical rail section and a heavy backside triple cork 1620 mute to finish the jump line, McMorris grabbed bronze at the Burton US Open 2019, in Vail, CO.

Redmond "Red" Gerard (USA) took the top spot with a score of 80.55. Gerard landed an impressive run on his first attempt, and was untouchable for all three runs. Sven Thorgren (SWE) finished in second with a score of 79.60 with an incredibility stylish run.

Darcy Sharpe (Comox, BC) finished in 8th with a score of 68.10, Mikey Ciccarelli (Ancaster, ON) finished in 27th with 33.90 and Francis Jobin (Quebec City, QC) placed 26th with a score of 35.70, respectively.
