CANADA SNOWBOARD CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) REMAINING 2020 EVENTS UPDATE

Due to ongoing and evolving concerns surrounding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Canada Snowboard and our PTSA, LOC and host partners, will cancel the remaining winter 2020 NorAms effective 1:00pm Pacific Time, Friday, March 13, 2020, and the Canadian HP, BA National Championships this weekend & SBX National Championships, planned for March 18-22, 2020 at Big White Ski Resort.
In keeping with recommendations from the Government of Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and after consulting with medical advisors, we are prioritizing the health and safety of our community, fans, athletes, staff, and volunteers involved in these events.
We would like to thank all resorts, partners, and management, the local organizing committees and volunteers for all of their hard work preparing for these amazing events. The health and safety of our athletes, volunteers and community is of utmost importance and we thank all those involved for helping make this difficult, but necessary decision. We will continue to update the snowboard community on all ongoing and updated information regarding all sanctioned activities.
