On Saturday, February 26, the LG Snowboard FIS World Cup will touch down at Canada Olympic Park for World Cup Halfpipe and Slopestyle competitions. An international field of riders will go head-to-head for a shot at the podium and their share of the $100,000 prize purse.
This year, snowboard fans can look forward to lining the sides of the pipe for optimal viewing, on-site DJs and exploring the World Cup Sponsor Village.
The LG Snowboard FIS World Cup action is just 15 minutes from downtown Calgary, making it easily accessible to the one million people within the city limits. The Slopestyle Finals will start off the day at 10:30am, and the Halfpipe Finals will take place starting at 2pm, and is FREE for spectators. Riders voted this event the best on the entire tour the last time that it was in Calgary – don’t miss it!
