ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2011, SNOWBOARDERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD DOMINATED THE SLOPESTYLE AND HALFPIPE AT CANADA OLYMPIC PARK FOR THE LG SNOWBOARD FIS WORLD CUP. $100,000 IN PRIZE MONEY WAS AWARDED.

The LG Snowboard FIS World Cup featured 8 hours of non-stop action on and off the snow. Spectators were kept busy with the World Cup Vendor Village, on-screen entertainment, live bands, World Cup competitions, an autograph session with Olympic Gold Medallist -Maelle Ricker, the Oakley air bag and more!

An introduction to competitive snowboarding for kids ages 8 - 14, took place in the Progression Park.

Live Bands
Bigger Fish than Guns, Stoning Mary, Roy-G-Biv and The Attempters entertained crowds from the Daylodge Stage with sets throughout the day.
Boot Art Auction
Local artists used snowboard boots as their canvas to create works of art. Silent auction in the Daylodge, proceeds will benefit Canada~Snowboard's Para-Snowboard Team
