THE RESORT
WinSport Canada’s Canada Olympic Park (COP) was the premier site of the 1988 Winter Olympic Games and continues to be one of the world’s finest recreation and high performance winter sport training facilities. COP provides year-round recreational programming for families and kids of all ages in skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and Olympic sport camps. One of the most popular tourism destinations in Western Canada outside of the Rocky Mountains, the Park plays host to world-class events from concert festivals to winter sport World Cups. With activities ranging from public bobsleigh rides to North America’s fastest zipline and the ability to host almost any type of corporate or private function, COP is always a source or activity and excitement just 15 minutes from downtown Calgary. The resort also hosted the LG Snowboard FIS World Cup on January 30, featuring World Cup Halfpipe and Slopestyle competitions.
