Volunteers

Interested in being involved at snowboarding events?

Canada~Snowboard offers many interesting volunteer positions for anyone who would like to participate in the delivery of snowboard events. With 2012/2013 season just around the corner, we want everyone to get excited in being part of the process.

Volunteering is a good opportunity to develop new skill and acquire knowledge on how to put on events.

It's also a good way to make friends and to meet new people that share your passion for snowboarding.

Here at Canada~Snowboard, our objective is to provide the best courses and the best officials in the best environement possible, for athletes to have nothing else to think about than performing during competition. None of that would be doable without the help of our devoted volunteers.

"I've never volunteered at any C~S events before, but I am interested, what can I do?"

We have plenty of positions for which we provide on site training such as:

  • Course maintenance
  • Gate judge
  • Safety net
  • Dye crew
  • And more...

We also offer a number of official positions:

  • Starter
  • Assistant Starter
  • Finish Referee
  • Timing & Tabulation assistant
  • Judge of competition
  • And more...

For those who are interested in taking over more responsabilities or if you have any questions, please e-mail Volunteer Coordinator                                                                          or contact your P/TSA (Province/Territory Sport Association) here.
