IPC Snowboard

 

Canada Snowboard and BC Snowabord are proud to host the 2016 IPC Snowboard World Cup and 2016 IPC Snowboard NorAm from February 9th to 13th. Athletes will compete against the clock and their opponents on a one of kind Snowboard Cross and Banked Slalom course, built especially for the ocassion at Big White Ski Resort in British Columbia.

IPC NorAm:

IPC Snowboard Continental Cups will remain open for all athletes with a valid IPC Snowboard Licence and classification status

IPC Snowboard World Cups:

For Snowboard Cross:

  • Men must have World Cup points in the Snowboard Cross; or be within 300% of the “race time” in at least one Snowboard Cross Continental Cup.
  • Women must have World Cup points in the Snowboard Cross; or be within 300% of the “race time” in at least one Snowboard Cross Continental Cup.

For Banked Slalom:

  • Men must have World Cup points in the Snowboard Cross or Banked Slalom; or be within 300% of the “race time” in at least one Snowboard Cross or Banked Slalom Continental Cup.
  • Women must have World Cup points in the Snowboard Cross or Banked Slalom; or be within 300% of the “race time” in at least one Snowboard Cross or Banked Slalom Continental Cup.

 

IPC Classification - Big White 

Big White Ski Resort will host classification on February 8th 2016, prior to the Para Snowboard Development Camps and prior to the IPC NorAms and IPC World Cups. In order to be able to compete, you’ll need a valid IPC Snowboard Licence and classification status.
