Women in Snowboarding : : Snowboard Performance Camp for females This February we will host the first Female Performance Camp following the Stoneham World Cup, February 26 & 27th , 2012. This camp is targeted at stage 4 athletes between the ages of 12 and 18.
The camp will focus on ALL disciplines over the two day period and has been designed with the following goals in mind;
• Creating social interaction between the female athletes in the country as it’s been shown this is a major factor in keeping females in competitive sport.
• Identify future female performers in all disciplines at an early age.
• Multi discipline skill improvement.
• Encouraging the younger female riders to continue as a competitive snowboarder.
