The Sport Development Program is responsible for programs and resources that improve the quality of the sport. These include:

Development of Coaches.
Development of Judges.
Development of Technical Delegates and other competition Officials.
Canada~Snowboard’s Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) Model.
Canada~Snowboard’s RBC Riders skill development program.
Canada~Snowboard’s participation in the Canada Winter Games.
Para-Snowboarding for people with physical disabilities.
Development of Women in Snowboarding.

Its programs and resources are, for the most part, delivered through the Canada~Snowboard’s provincial/territorial associations and their member clubs and affiliate organizations.
