Darcy Sharpe was raised in mountain culture and began snowboarding at the age of five. He grew up in Comox, BC where his dad works at Mount Washington Alpine resort. He is a family first kind of guy and usually has a crew of his closest friends with him where ever he goes. Their support for one another is anything but light. On the contrary, the Sharpe's are uber competitive and incredible athletes in just about everything they do. Between his sister, Cassie Sharpe (freestyle skiing), and himself (in snowboard slopestyle & big air) they boast quite collection of X Games medals, including an Olympic Gold her sister achieved in Superpipe Skiing Pyeongchang 2018. The athletic skills this family poses's don't end their either, as their brother Doug - although away from the spot light - is freakishly talented ninja-ing his way around any mountain bike park. 

Darcy made the move to Whistler at a young age to train with the Whistler Valley Snowboard Club. He's become known as a bit of a rail monster, somehow finding a way to make uniquely technical tricks performed with ease and is no stranger to going big when it counts. He's never one to fear going first - even in the face of challenging weather conditions - to guinea pig a 70 ft + jump when the opportunity knocks.

No stranger to standing on top of podiums, Darcy’s most memorable achievement was winning Gold at the 2020 Winter X Games Aspen in Slopestyle. He's come along way earning multiple X Games medals and is here to make a statement.
